Dear Parents and Guardians
As the Pfizer vaccine for children ages 5-18 is now available, the Vermont Department of Health is offering two vaccination clinics in RNESU schools: Otter Creek Academy at Leicester School and at Neshobe School. The school based clinics will be open only on the following dates and if you wish your child to be vaccinated at school, you must register on the state website VDH COVID-19 portal This is a link to the registration portal. Parents should only register for the 11/18 or the 11/22 clinic. They will be then be automatically scheduled for the second dose on the day of the 11/18 clinic as part of the exit process.
Parents may also call the Vermont Department of Health instead of registering online at 855-722-7878, Mon - Fri 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Sat and Sun 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. to register and give consent.
There are limited slots at the school based clinics. If you wish to have your child vaccinated at school, please log on and register as soon as possible. All RNESU students, ages, 5-18,may attend the school vaccination clinics.
Clinc dates:
OCA at Leicester School Nov 18 (1st dose with the second dose scheduled for Dec 9)
Neshobe School Dec. 14 (with the second dose scheduled for Jan. 4)
This is an optional clinic. You may instead choose to go to your pediatrician, a pharmacy or a state sponsored clinic elsewhere. We have agreed to host this clinic at each school as a convenience to parents, but no child will receive a vaccination without your registration and consent.
